One in four pregnancies will end up with a Caesarean birth. About the Author
Dr Tan Ee Ping is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practising in Malaysia. This is her first book. Graduating from University of Malaya as a medical student, she has received hundreds of babies. Knowing exactly what she wanted, she soon became a Member and subsequently a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, UK. Her love for obstetrics drove her to a life of receiving 300 to 400 babies each year. Out of curiosity, she became a HypnoBirthing practitioner. She then noticed that birth is not just about a baby coming out of a mother’s womb. There’s lots of emotions that can affect birth. She soon realised that in order to ensure a healthy and smooth birth, mother’s need a healthy body, mind and heart. Aiming to provide holistic care for all her patients, she went on to be a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
